Notion Ink Adam Coming with 20 Preloaded Tablet Customized Apps :)

Notion Ink has managed to keep the initial interest in its upcoming tablet alive for nearly 11 months — no mean feat considering the fact that we have had tablet announcements ad nauseam during this period.? This is also despite the fact that the Adam has been plagued by delays. However, to its credit, Notion Ink has utilized this time well by sharing bits and pieces about the slate on a regular basis.

Notion Ink, made famous for its Pixel-Qi display on the Adam tablet, has announced in addition to the device’s interface updates that the Adam will launch pre-loaded with 20 tablet-optimized apps. Rival Samsung had launched the Galaxy Tab with a number of re-tooled apps with a tablet user experience complete with panes that make use of the tablet’s larger display. For the Adam, Notion Ink will have tablet-ready versions of email, calendar, paint, gallery, settings, a file browser, and Office suite that makes use of the company’s Eden UI, which will offer three panes, or windows, to make use of the 10-inch touchscreen. The Notion Ink Adam will be available for pre-order this December.
